DSR Norwalk Friday Highlights:

  • Funny Car racer Ron Capps rocketed to the provisional qualifying lead
  • Capps powered to the quickest pass of the second session, and second-quickest of the first session, banking five bonus points
  • Jack Beckman also earned Funny Car bonus points by running the quickest E.T. of the opening session, and third-quickest of Q2 to secure the provisional No. 3 spot
  • Leah Pritchett leads the DSR Top Fuel duo with her Q2 pass and finishes Friday in the No. 2 spot

DSR also campaigns two Factory Stock Showdown entries. The duo is piloted by Pritchett, the 2018 Factory Stock Showdown Series champion, and former Pro Stock racer Mark Pawuk.
